Last week Emu Analytics were proud and excited to host their very first webinar, all about the recent updates of our Flo.w software solution. Emu Analytics was announced as one of the 28 winners of funding through the Geospatial Commission’s SBRI competition in December 2020 with the focus “to use location data to solve transport challenges”. Within the supply chains category, Emu will collaborate with the UK’s General Lighthouse Authority to analyse and visualise (& ultimately predict) shipping patterns through UK waters in order to determine how the plans for the rapid expansion in offshore wind farms will influence shipping routes.

Emu Analytics are proud to announce that it has been selected as one of the recipients of Innovate UK’ Sustainable Innovation Fund to realise our project Planes, Trains and Automobiles. Alongside our partners Plane Finder and Ferrovial, we will improve the managing of multi-modal passenger flows across highly impacted transport sectors disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic to build the UK back better and more sustainably.

Our Senior Location Intelligence Analyst, Alice, has taken upon the UK Power Network Charge Challenge; using a combination of open-source data and the DNO’s Distribution Future Energy Scenarios (DFES) data, and utilising Emu’s mapping solutions Location Insights Explorer to visualise the predicted scenarios and allow for easy exploration of the results.
