Last week marked an exciting milestone for Emu Analytics as our Head of Sales for Rail, Gav Jackman, and Principal Solutions Consultant, Mark Brundell, represented Emu Analytics at our first-ever Railway Industry Association (RIA) Annual Conference.

The event brought together leaders from across the rail sector to discuss innovation, performance, and the future of UK rail; the perfect platform for us to showcase how our digital twin software, Flo.w for Rail, has been advanced to helping operators turn complex operational data into real-time insight.

Bringing proven digital twin technology from aviation to rail

Over the past five years, Emu Analytics has delivered powerful real-time digital twin software for some of the world’s busiest airports and airlines. Our technology has helped reduce delays, improve punctuality, and save millions of pounds by giving operations teams a live, shared view of what’s happening on the ground.

Now, we’re bringing that same capability to the rail industry.

At the RIA Annual Conference, Gav and Mark demonstrated how Flo.w for Rail provides a live, map-based picture of the rail network, highlighting and alerting teams of delayed, stationary, or stranded trains in real time and surfacing all relevant information instantly at the user’s fingertips.

Attendees of our demonstration at the RIA Annual Conference saw how Flo.w for Rail goes beyond visualisation, offering deeper operational insight through tools such as:

• Berth DNA reports, which reveal recurring sources of delay and performance bottlenecks‍
