This week, our CEO Richard Vilton joined the Grow London Global Enterprise Trade Mission to Germany, representing Emu Analytics alongside 11 other UK scale-up founders. The mission was all about connecting with Germany’s most forward-thinking organisations in tech and transport innovation, and for Richard, it was a fantastic opportunity to share what Emu Analytics is doing to help operators make transport smarter, safer, and more efficient.

Kick off in Munich: Pitching to industry leaders

The trip began in Munich, where Richard had the opportunity to showcase our digital twin software to investors and leaders across the tech and transport ecosystem, including Siemens, BMW Group, BMW i Ventures, BayWa r.e. Global, and the UN World Food Programme Innovation Accelerator.

At Emu, our digital twin solution provides real-time insights into complex transport operations, helping airports, airlines, and other transport operators optimise efficiency, manage risk, and make faster, more informed decisions. Richard was able to show how our platform is already supporting organisations like British Airways, IAG Cargo, and London Gatwick in improving airside operations, and discuss how similar benefits could support German transport operators.

With support from Start2 Group, Munich Urban Colab, NVIDIA, and Plug and Play Munich, the mission explored exciting ideas shaping the future of transport tech and built strong new connections along the way.

Exploring innovation in Stuttgart

From Munich, the mission moved to Stuttgart, the heart of Baden-Württemberg’s innovation ecosystem. Richard joined a packed programme of events, from the UK-Germany Tech Accelerator Networking Reception to panels with leaders from ZEISS, Cyber Valley, ZF Group, and Bosch.

These sessions offered insights on innovation, growth, and collaboration, highlighting the strength of UK-Germany partnerships in tech, mobility, and deep tech industries.

The Stuttgart leg also included a tour of ARENA2036 and a session with STARTUP AUTOBAHN powered by Plug and Play. Here,explored the latest in mobility, AI, and digital transformation, seeing firsthand how innovation is driving the future of transport.
