Happy New Year & Happy 2nd Emuversary

Happy New Year & Happy 2nd Emuversary

It’s gone faster than we could have imagined as we are about to celebrate our second anniversary (we formed at the beginning of 2015) and it’s fair to say that it’s been an exciting couple of years for us.

Over that time we’ve worked on a number of really interesting projects for the likes of Vodafone, Dell EMC, Lendlease and others in locations as exotic as South Africa, Czech Republic and Elephant & Castle…

Some of the highlights of the last two years include having some of our work published in Time Out magazine (the Bowie memorial edition no less!) and The Guardian, guest lecturing about analysis of Strava cycling data at UCL, having one of our products showcased by Vodafone at Mobile World Congress, presenting at Telco Data Analytics conference in Madrid and GeoData conference in London and of course, building a bunch of cool smart cities applications and websites.

We have also had over 200 downloads of our Data offerings across multiple industries ranging from airport management to waste collection, city planners to architects. Watch this space for some exciting new data coming this year.

And now we’re recruiting…

We’ve had so much interest in our work that we are now looking to recruit another person to join us in Central London as a junior web developer, with a view that they will grow with us, learning a lot of new skills on the way and enjoy and share in future success with us.

If you (or someone you know) might fit the bill, then please get in touch with us or apply through this link. The advert lists the technology skills that we are looking for in a candidate.

As you might expect, we use a lot of leading technologies for web based map and data visualisations, and whilst we don’t expect you to be an expert in all of them, you should be able to demonstrate the ability to quickly grasp and work with them following on-the-job training.

We are based in Central London operating from a large communal office building for tech start-ups, with all the usual stuff that you’d expect in such an environment, including free bagel Tuesday..!

We also offer a flexible way of working, and allow our employees a number of free “volunteer” days for charitable work.

Ideally we would want someone who is looking to grow with us, helping us achieve greater success and then sharing in the rewards that come with it.

So if you fancy joining the mob* then please get in touch.
