Alice crosses the equator - visualised in LINE

In February we shared that our senior location intelligence analyst and resident cyclist, Alice, is on a two-month long cycle journey from Khartoum to Victoria falls.

Alice has now made it to Kenya and crossed the equator this week. So far, we have mapped some neat facts on Sudan and Ethiopia in our Location Insights Explorer, and today we are sharing one from Kenya:

Kenyans are known as excellent long distance runners and this map shows the number of Olympic medals won at each Olympic games by Kenyan athletes. The vast majority of the medals come from running although they have also won medals in other athletics disciplines (Javelin and Hurdles) and boxing.
