This month’s blog is going to look at an issue that has been in the news quite a bit recently – the price of hospital parking. There are mixed views as to whether charging for hospital parking is a good idea or not, with fees being scrapped in Scotland as of 2008 (apart from at 3 hospitals tied in to long PFI contracts) and in Wales as of the end of 2018 (10 years after the plan was first announced). Parking charges still remain in England and as expected, vary hugely from location to location.
